14 December, 2014 whereby it was agreed that respondent No.2 shallriot press his FIR, subject to the condition that the petitioners shall pay him compensation for a sum ofRs.20,000/-. Respondent No.2 is present in Court. He has confirmed the - settlement as well as receiving ofcompensation amount ofRs.20,000/-. He hasno objectioniftheprayermadeinthepetitionis allowed. In view of the above said facts and circumstances, since the FIR contains the offence under Section 308 IPG also, this Court is of the view thatthecompensationawardedtorespondentNo.2isriotreasonable. Thus, It IS directed that the petitioners No.l & 2 shall pay a further sum of:Rs.40,000Ainequalproportion,torespondentNo.2within four weeks from Today: Since the Statemachineiy has beenused, while quashingtheFiR,d ^ alsoimpose the costofRs.20,000A uponthepetitioner..
