14.01.2015 The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under
Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIRNo. 837/2002, under Section
498-A/406/34 IPG, registered at P.S. Tilak Nagar, Delhi on the complaint ofrespondentNo.2.
Brief facts of the case are that the marriage betwedi-the petitioner No.land respondent No.2 was solemnized in 1990 in Delhi as per Muslim rites and customs and out of this wedlock a female child was bom who is now about 18 years of age. Due to (differences petitioner No.l and respondent No.2 started living separately from each other. On the complaint of respondent No.2, the aforesaid FIR was registered against the petitioners on 17^^ November, 2002.
During the course of the proceedings, the petitioner jNo.l and respondent No.2 have settled their disputes amicably with the
2015:DHC:10619 T interventionoftheir family members as well as otherpersons andnow they are residmg in the same house as husband and wife.
Petitioners and Respondent No.2 are present in Court and are duly identified by their respective counsels. Respondent No.2 has confirmed that she does not want to proceed further against the petitioners as she is residing with her husband, i.e. petitioner No.l peacefully. She has no objection ifthe prayer made in the petition is allowed.
In view of the settlement, the FIR No.837/2002, under Section
498-A/406/34 IPG, registered at P.S. Tilak Nagar, Delhi and proceedings pursuant thereto arehereby quashed quathepetitioner.
The petition is accordingly disposed of A OHAN SINGH, JANUARY 14,2015
