14.01.2015 The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Section
ORDER
482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.278/2011 under Sections 308/326/34 IPC, registered at P.S. Aman Vihar, Delhi on the complaint of respondent No.2. Brief facts of the case are that respondent No.2 had lodged a complaint against the petitioners on the basis of which the aforesaid FIR was registered. During the pendency of the proceedings, the petitioners and respondents No.2 & 3 have settled their disputes amicably in mediation proceedings. The terms and conditions of the settlement are mentioned in the mediation report dated 25th September, 2014 which is duly signed by the parties. The parties shall be bound by the said terms and conditions of the 2015:DHC:10604 settlement. As per one of the terms of the settlement, the petitioners have paid a sum of Rs.50,000/- to respondents No.2 & 3. The petitioners as well as respondents No-2 & 3 are present in Court who are duly identified by their respective counsel. Respondents No.2 & 3 have confirmed the settlement as well as receiving of the amount from the petitioners in terms thereof. They have no objection if the prayer made in the petition is allowed. Learned counsel for the petitioners has informed that there was a cross-FIR bearing No.279/2011 registered with the same police station by the petitioners' side against respondents No.2 & 3 which has also been quashed today in terms of the above said settlement. In view of the averments made in the petition as well as the settlement, the FIR No.278/2011 under Sections 308/326/34 IPC, registered at P.S. Aman Vihar, Delhi and proceedings pursuant thereto are hereby quashed qua the petitioners. The petition is accordingly disposed of. JANUARY 14, 2015 NGH iq"d"A C§1 '-V- __9 J. 2015:DHC:10604
