The above mentioned two petitions have been filed by the petitioners under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking quashing of
FIR No.1267/2014 under Sections 308/34 IPC and FIR No.1268/2014 under
Sections 324/354/506/509/147/149/452 IPC, Police Station New Ashok
Nagar, Delhi. The aforesaid FIRs are registered on the basis of complaint lodged by the complainant/respondent No. 2 in respective cases.
It is stated in the petitions that during the pendency of the proceedings, both the parties have settled their disputes. All the parties are present in Court who have been identified by the counsel for the petitioners.
The parties have no objection if both the FIRs are quashed as they have compromised the matter by virtue of compromise deed dated 25^ October, 2014 which is signed by them.
In view of the averments made in the petitions, I am of the opinion that no useful purpose would be served in continuing the theproceedings arisingout ofthe above said FIRs. Accordingly, the proceedings arisenfi-om the FIR No.1267/2014 under Sections 308/34 IPC and FIR No.1268/2014 under Sections 324/354/506/509/147/149/452 IPC, Police Station New
Ashok Nagar, Delhi, are hereby quashed.
Both the petitions stand disposed of Dasti.
Since State machinery has been used, the petitioners in both the petitions shall deposit Rs.20,000/- (i.e. petitioners in one petition shall deposit Rs.10,000/- and petitioners in second petition shall deposit
Rs.10,000/-) with the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre within four weeks. The receipts shall be filed within two weeks after the deposit of the.said amount. The petitioners are agreeable to deposit the said amount within the time granted by the Court. Copy of the receipts also be shown to the 10.
In case the receipts are not filed, the matter be listed before Court.
