Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.148/2013, under Section 406/498-A IPG, registered at P.S. Prashant Vihar, Delhi on the complaint of respondent
No.2. Allthe parties areidentified bytheirrespective counsel.
Brief facts of the case are that the marriage betweeii the petitioner
No.l and respondent No.2 was solemnized on 11^*^ February, 2012 at
Allahabad. On the basis of the complaint, abovesaid FIR was registered against the petitioners. During the pendency of the proceeding at Court, a settlement was arrived between petitioner No.l and respondent No.2 on 9^^
May, 2014 before Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre. On
2015:DHC:10644 the basis ofthe settlement agreement which is placed on record the marriage between the parties have been dissolved. A copy ofthe decree sheet dated
November, 2014 has been placed on record. The settlement agreement in fact has been acted upon between the parties. The petitioner No.l is present in the Court. The petitioners No.2 to 7 are relatives of petitioner
No.l. The respondent No.2 is present before the Court. She has received balance payment of Rs.lO lac in the Court. She has confirmed the settlement which is duly signed by both the parties. She has no objection if the presence of petitioner Nos.2 to 7 are dispensed with. Ordered accordingly.
The respondent No.2 further states that she has now no grievance left against the petitioners and she wishes to withdraw the complaint filed by her against the petitioners. Counsel for the State has no objection tothe same.
In view of the settlement, the FIR No.148/2013, under Section
406/498-A IPC, registered at P.S. Prashant Vihar, Delhi and proceedings pursuant thereto arehereby quashed quathepetitioners.
Thepetition is accordingly disposed of.
