1. The petitioner has sought the following reliefs: “a) Issue notice to the respondents. b) Direct the Respondent No.1 and 2 to provide adequate protection to the petitioner at his residential house i.e. H-416, Street No.17, Sangam Vihar, New Delhi-110062 and within the territory of Delhi from the hands of respondent no. 5 to 8 in the interest of Justice. c) Direct the Respondent No.3 and 4 to provide adequate protection to the assets of petitioner i.e. Farm House namely "Unique Farm House" situated at Kanth, Dhampur Road, Kashimpur, District: Moradabad, U.P. in the interest of Justice. d) Direct the Respondent No.3 and 4 to provide adequate protection on his visit to his Farm House namely "Unique Farm House" situated at Kanth, Dhampur Road, Kashimpur, District:Moradabad, U.P. in the interest of Justice. e) Direct the Respondent No.3 and 4 to initiate appropriate legal action against the respondent no.5 to 8 and their associates on the complaint dated 13.[1] 0.2024 in the interest of Justice. b) (sic) Pass any other or further orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the given facts and circumstances of the case.”

2. In the course of preliminary hearing today, learned counsel for petitioner in all fairness admits that reliefs in prayer clauses (c), (d) and (e) cannot be granted since the subject property is in U.P. So, petitioner drops these reliefs.

3. As regards prayer clause (b), learned counsel for respondents no.5-8 submits that the said respondents have no reason to take law in their hand and that they shall not indulge in any act of violence against the petitioner. Counsel for respondents no.5-8 also submits that they strongly deny the pleadings of the petition. Apart from that, learned ASC, accepting notice of this petition, submits that mobile phone number of beat officer of the residential area of petitioner is being provided to learned counsel for petitioner, so that as and when required, the petitioner can call up the beat officer for police help.

4. Under these circumstances, learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petition stands satisfied. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. (JUDGE) APRIL 25, 2025
