India, the petitioner has challenged the award dated 27.05.2013 passed by learned Presiding Officer, Labour Court-XI, Karkardooma
Courts, Delhi in ID No.227/2011.
Vide impugned award dated 27.05.2013, learned Labour Court has directed reinstatement of the respondent with immediate effect with full back wages along with consequential benefits counted from
19.09.2009 till the date of his actual reinstatement in service. Further, a sum of Rs.20,000/- was awarded to the respondent towards litigation expenses.
Aggrieved by the said award dated 27.05.2013, the petitioner has prefen-ed the present petition.

Learned counsel for the parties submit that the parties have settled the matter before Delhi High Court Mediation and
Conciliation Centre on 18.12.2014. A copy of settlement/agreement dated 18.12.2014 is placed on record. In terms of settlement arrived at between the parties, the respondent agreed to receive a sum of
Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees three lakhs) towards satisfaction of the award dated 27.05.2013.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that 50% of the awarded amount was deposited by the petitioner in terms of order dated 30.08.2013. The petitioner has now paid the entire amount in terms of the settlement andthe said 50% of the awarded amount along with interest accrued thereon be released to the petitioner.
Respondent /Mr.Shailendra Kumar, who is present in Court and is identified by Mr.Ajit Singh, Advocate states that he has received demand draft Nos. 460641 and 460642 both dated 23.01.2015 of
Rs. 1,50,000/- (Rupees one lakh fifty thousand) each issued by HDFC
Bank Ltd., New Delhi. Healso states thathe has received experience-, certificate from the petitioner. He further states that he has rip objection if 50% of the awarded amount deposited by the petitioner along with interest accrued thereon is released to the petitioner. He also submits that there is no claim or demand left whatsoever of any nature. Statement of respondent, Mr. Shailendra Kumar Singh to this effect has been recorded separately.
