27.02.2015 The above mentioned two petitions have been filed by the petitioners under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking quashing of
FIR No.718/2014 under Section 307 IPC and FIR No.720/2014 under
Sections 307/34 IPC, Police Station Dabri, New Delhi. The aforesaid FIRs are registered on the basis of complaint lodged bythe
2015:DHC:10700 complainant/respondent No. 2 in respective cases.
It is stated in the petitions that during the pendency of the proceedings, both the parties have settled their disputes. All the parties are present inCourt who have been identified by the counsel for the petitioners.
The parties have no objection if both the FIRs are quashed as they have compromised the matter by virtue of compromise deeds dated 15*
December, 2014 and 17* December, 2014 which is signed by them.
In view of the averments made in the petitions, I am of the opinion that no useful purpose would be served in continuing the the proceedings arising out ofthe above said FIRs. Accordingly, the proceedings arisen from the FIR No.718/2014 under Section 307 IPG and FIR No.720/2014 under
Sections 307/34 IPG, Police Station Dabri, New Delhi, are hereby quashed.
Both the petitions standdisposed of Dasti.
Since State machinery has been used, the petitioners in both the petitions namely Naushad M@Shaji and Thomas Sebastian and George P. shall deposit Rs.10,000/- each with the Delhi High Gourt Mediation and
Gonciliation Gentre within four weeks. The receipts shall befiled within two weeks after the deposit ofthe said amount. The petitioners are agreeable to deposit the said amount within the time granted by the Gourt. Gopy ofthe receipts also be shown to the 10.
In case the receipts are not filed, the matter be listed before Gourt.
