ORDER
1. Vide the present petitions, petitioners seek proceedings under the Contempt Act against the respondents for not complying the order dated 16.05.2014 passed in the Rev. Pet. Nos. 180/2014 and 181/2014 by this Court in W.P(C) Nos. 1898/1995 and 4392/1995 respectively.
2. Ld. Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that petitioners have been promoted to the Post of Senior Assistant w.e.f 20.11.1992 and 04.12.1995 respectively. Thereafter, the petitioners had to be considered for the post of Section Officer. However, till date, Departmental Promotional Committee for the said purpose has not been convened. 2015:DHC:10855
3. Ld. Counsel appearing on behalf ofthe respondents on advance notice submits that the meeting of the aforesaid Committee constituted for considering the case for promotion to the vacant post of Section Officers will be held today at 3.30 PM.
4. Keeping in view the statement made by the Counsel for the respondents that meeting ofthe DPC is to be held today, I am not inclined to pass any order in the instant petition.
5. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
6. It is hereby made clear that DPC will take decision in terms of order dated 16.05.2014 passed by this Court.
