JUDGMENT
1. The grievance articulated in the petition is that, one, Mr Sandeep Sethi has encroached on public space and that no action has been taken in that behalf. According to the petitioner, the said, Mr Sandeep Sethi, is the owner and is in possession of property bearing no. 50/2 Bf, Baljeet Nagar, West Patel Nagar, New Delhi – 110 008 (hereafter referred to as the Plot). 1.[1] It is contended that the said person has encroached upon the road which abuts the plot.
2. Mr Kapil Dutta, who appears on advance notice on behalf of the North Delhi Municipal Corporation (North DMC), says that the aforementioned property has been booked and proceedings are underway.
3. In these circumstances, no further orders are called for. The North DMC will take action, if necessary, in accordance with law.
4. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner says that the said W.P.(C) 4987/2015 2015:DHC:4390 person continues to carry on unauthorized construction.
5. The North DMC will take due note of the submission made and take suitable steps in that behalf. I am also informed that the concerned SHO has been requested to give necessary help in that regard. The concerned SHO will comply with the request made by the North DMC.
6. The petition stands disposed of.
