09.07.2015 Status report has been filed by the State. The present petition has been preferred by the petitioner seeking direction for production ofhis wife Rekha Singh. As per the petitioner,she has been missing from his house since 8^*^ March,2015. In the status reportfiled by the
State,it is stated thaton instructions ofthe petitioner,a missing report was lodged by the police vide DD No.ISA regarding missing ofhis wife Rekha aged 25 years. It is further stated that necessary steps have been initiated by the police for search ofMs.Rekha. Itis further stated that a police officer was sent to Gadwa, Jharkhand wherein
2015:DHC:11636-DB Ms.Rekha was stated to have been residing. It is further stated that the statementofMs.Rekha wasrecorded bythe police officer. Along with the status report, the State has also annexed a hand-written statement of Ms.Rekha. In her statement, Ms.Rekha has levelled serious allegations against the petitioner. She has also stated that she has been residing at her parental house out ofher own wish and desire and she does not wantto live with the petitioner.
In the light ofthe above, learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions of the petitioner seeks to withdraw the petition with liberty to seek appropriate remedy.
This petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed.
