The petitioners seek directions to the respondents to grant
House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Transport Allowance as pertheir entitlement for the period 02.01.2006 to 13.07.2012 in W.P.(C)
No.7415/2015 and for the period 08.04.2011 to 31.03.201^ in^
W.P.(C) No. 7452/2015. The petitioners submitthatthey are en^tled to the benefits claimed by virtue ofseveral orders ofthis Court being
Jai Shankar MNvs. UOI in W.P.(C) No. 7582/2009:'aecidm on
16.11.2009 and Insp. (M) Harvinder Singh vs. Union ofIndia in
W'-P-(C) No.1731/2013 decidedon 18.03.2013. \
The respondents do not deny that the facts ofthis case|are identical and the petitioners are similarly situated as in those deckd cases.
In the facts and circumstances ofthe case, the respondentsUe® directed to giant House Rent Allowance and Transport Allowanci to the petitioners along with arrears for the said period after jlue verification within eight weeks from today.
The writ petitions are disposed ofin above terms.
