HIGH COURT OF DELHI
Date of Decision: 09th May, 2025
SANDEEP PANDEY .....Petitioner
Through: Mr. Ram Kishan, Advocate.
Through: Mr. Rakesh Chahar and Mr. Naveen Chauhan, Advocate
JUDGMENT
1. Petitioner is plaintiff before the learned Trial Court.
2. The limited request in the present petition is that the learned Trial Court may be requested to dispose of the suit in a time-bound manner.
3. The case is reportedly at the stage of final arguments.
4. Learned counsel for respondent has also joined the proceedings through video conferencing.
5. Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn the attention of the Court towards various orders passed by learned Trial Court, and it is noticed that the learned Trial Court is already seized of final arguments. On 12.03.2025, there was no appearance from the side of defendant and, therefore, the matter was directed to be taken up on 19.03.2025 on which date, the learned Presiding Officer was on leave.
6. Now, the next date before the learned Trial Court is 24.05.2025.
7. Since the learned Trial Court has already heard arguments in part on CM(M) 877/2025 2 earlier occasions, there is no real requirement of passing any direction in the matter.
8. The petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
9. Needless to say, this Court would expect that both the sides gives requisite assistance and cooperation to learned Trial Court and would conclude final arguments on the next date of hearing itself so that learned Trial Court is in a position to reserve the matter for judgment.
10. The petition stands disposed of in aforesaid terms.
11. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
