All the petitioners seek directions that second financial
2015:DHC:11566-DB upgradation/Assured Career Progression ("AGP") Scheme dated
09.08.1999 should be granted to them.
At the outset, Ms. Shiva Lakshmi, learned counsel for the
CRPF submits that directions have been issued to all Battalions to forward the names and after due verification of those entitled to it, appropriate orders may be made.
In view of this statement, respondents are hereby directed to ensure that the process is completed expeditiously and in any event within eight weeks from today and grant AGP benefits and release them on the basis ofthe petitioner's original date ofappointment.
The writpetitions are allowed in the above terms.
