In this petition, quashing of FIR No. 551/2015, under Section 420 of IPC, registered at police station K.N.Katju Marg, Sector-16, Rohini, New Delhi is sought on merits.
At the hearing, learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner is suffering from cancer, and he is ready to pay back the amount of `27,00,000/- received from the complainant/ first-informant of this FIR.
Mr. Balbir Singh, learned senior counsel for respondent No.2- complainant submits that if petitioner is bona fide about the aforesaid
2015:DHC:7193 Crl.M.C.No. 3572/2015 Page 2 proposal, then petitioner should file an application for compounding of offence in question before the trial court and if petitioner deposits the total amount of `27,00,000/-, the respondent No.2-complainant is agreeable for compounding of the offence in question.
In view of aforesaid, this petition and applications are disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to seek compounding of the offence in question before the trial court.
