1. The short question which arises for consideration in this writ petition is the question relating to grant of interest with respect to pension and other retirement benefits granted to the petitioner by the Central Administrative Tribunal. Mr. Sharawat submits that although a specific prayer for grant of interest was made, but the question with regard to payment of interest has not been considered by the Tribunal. He further submits that the Tribunal has reached a conclusion that the petitioner is entitled to retirement benefits and there was no delay caused by the petitioner. Both the parties pray that the matter be remanded to the Tribunal to hear and reconsider the matter with regard to the prayer for payment of interest.

2. Accordingly, we remand the matter back to the Tribunal to render a decision whether the petitioner is entitled to payment of interest, if yes, 2015:DHC:8524-DB W.P.(C) No.8324 /2015 for what period and at what rate. Parties to appear before the Tribunal on 28.10.2015.
