JUDGMENT
1. Mr. Banerjee has returned with instructions. He says that this court could allow the petition, putting the petitioner in this case at par with the case titled: Pratibha Singh Vs. University of Delhi and Anr. That Writ Petition, which was numbered as WP (C) 9004/2015, was disposed of vide order dated 1.10.2015.
2. In this case as well, the petitioner has passed the entrance examination held by the University of Delhi for 3 years LL.B Course. The last date for taking admission in the said course was 31.08.2015. 2.[1] The petitioner, who has acquired a B.A. Hons. (Sociology) degree had to seek revaluation in respect of the theory part of Sociological Theories-II paper. 2.[2] The result of the revaluation, however, was declared by the 2015:DHC:8646 WP(C) 9393/2015 University of Delhi only on 21.09.2015. Admittedly, the revaluation exercise ended up in a favourable result for the petitioner and consequently, he was declared as having passed aforementioned the paper. Resultantly, the petitioner was issued a provisional certificate by the Hindu College on 22.09.2015.
3. Having regard to the aforesaid circumstances, it is quite clear, that the revaluation exercise will have to relate back to the date when the petitioner took the examination. Therefore, the petitioner will be given admission in the LL.B course. It is ordered accordingly. 3.[1] The petitioner will appear before the Dean for this purpose on 16.10.2015 at 11.00 a.m. The petitioner will also fulfil all formalities, which are required to be carried out for seeking admittance to the LL.B course.
4. With the aforesaid observations in place, the captioned petition and the pending application are disposed of.
