JUDGMENT
1. Present writ petition has been filed by petitioner under Article 226 ofthe Constitution of India seeking directions to respondents no.2 and 3 to release his wife from the clutches of respondents no.4 and 5 and take necessaiy action against the culprits.
2. As per the petition, marriage between the petitioner and his wife, Sunita Bala Zende, was solemnized on 31.8.2015. The wife of the petitioner is stated to have been missing since 6.9.2015. Since the Police failed to take any appropriate action, the petitioner was forced to knock the doors ofthis Court.
3. Learned counsel for the respondents enters appearance on an advance copy and has handed over astatus report along with the photocopy of statement made by Smt.Sunita in Court today. As per the status report, during investigation aPolice Constable was sent to the parental house of 2015:DHC:11083-DB

Mrs.Sunita, where she informed him that she has married to one, Mr.Dinesh, in the year 2012, but later she met the petitioner, who was residing with his father in Pune, and it is only then they became friends. Thereafter the petitioner induced her to maiTy him. She has further stated that she is cuiTently residing with her father and does not wish to join the company ofthe petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the status report, which has been handed over in Court today, he does not wish to press the present writ petition.
