JUDGMENT

1. This is an application seeking amendment to the prayer clause

(i) in the writ petition.

2. The amendment sought in prayer clause of the writ petition is as follows:- “..Amend the prayer clause (i) of writ petition to the effect that instead of “matriculation certificate”, it should be read as “matriculation certificate and mark-sheet..”.

3. Mr. Bansal does not oppose the prayer for amendment made by the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, the amendment, as prayed, is allowed. The application is disposed of. W.P.(C) 9840/2015 2015:DHC:9228

5. Mr. Bansal has reverted with instructions. He says that since the prayer made is only for rectification of the date of birth in the matriculation certificate and the marksheet, the needful will be done, as prayed for, by the petitioner.

6. The writ petition is disposed of, based on the statement of the learned counsel for respondent no.1/CBSE. Accordingly, the impugned communications dated 14.05.2015 and 20.08.2015 are set aside.

7. Needless to say, the needful will be done, as expeditiously as possible, though not later than four weeks from today.
